Moving the ForeverMe SensPod
Caster levellers — safe levelling and moving instructions
Our pods are equipped with caster levellers. Each corner has a wheel and a height-adjustable foot: the wheel is for moving, the foot is for levelling and locking.
Moving the pod while the levelling feet are engaged can damage the booth structure and glass panels. Always retract all four caster feet completely before moving.
Preparing to move the pod
Verify the path
- Make sure the floor is clear and flat.
- Check that there is enough space to move the pod safely.
Confirm wheels are on the floor
- The wheel must be fully touching the floor.
- The foot must be completely retracted — in contact with the floor.
Secure the door
- The door must not swing open while moving.
- Either tape the door shut or have one person hold it closed during the move.
Retract the caster feet
- For each of the four corners, use the ratchet handle.
- Turn in the direction marked "Up".
- The foot will move up into the body of the caster.
Check all four corners
- Only when all four caster feet are fully retracted is it safe to move the pod.
Move with care
- Make sure all caster feet are fully retracted and the door is securely closed (taped or held). Move the pod slowly and carefully, using at least two people. Do not drag the pod sideways — move it in a straight line. Avoid trolleys or obstacles that can cause sudden shocks.
Levelling the pod (when in position)
Check all four corners
- Make sure all four caster levellers are installed and undamaged.
Repeat for all four corners
- Adjust each foot so the pod is stable and level.
- The pod should not rock when you gently push on the walls.
Lower the caster foot
- Using the ratchet handle on each caster, turn in the direction marked "Down".
- The black foot will move down towards the floor.
- Continue until the foot is firmly on the floor and the wheel is slightly off the floor.
Final check
- All four feet must be touching the floor.
- All four wheels should be lightly lifted off the floor.
- The pod is now immobilised and level.
After moving — lock and level again
Lower the caster feet
- Use the ratchet handle on each caster. Turn "Down" until the foot is firm on the floor and the wheel sits slightly off it.
Level the pod
- Adjust each foot as needed until the pod is stable and completely level.
Final safety check
- Pod does not rock. Wheels are not bearing the load. Doors and glass panels open and close smoothly.
